“State College, we greet thee with love and devotion; Our hearts and our treasures we bring to thy shrine. With arms that are strong from all harm we defend thee; Thy name shall we cherish, dear mother of mine. We walk through this wide world in peace and with courage we gained while we sat at thy sanctified seat. We come when thou call’st us to battle, dear mother and cast all we have at thy glorified feet.”

Greetings Alumni and Friends;
As a 1978 graduate of the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff, the words of our alma mater serves as a constant reminder of what I gained while attending UAPB. The alma mater inspires me to give back so that other students may experience the pride of attending this great University. Thank you for entrusting me with such an awesome responsibility. It is an honor to serve as President and Chairman of the Board of the UAPB/AM&N National Alumni Association.
The mission of the UAPB/AM&N National Alumni Association is to support the University and its program. The UAPB/AM&N National Alumni Association has answered the call from “Dear Mother” by providing scholarships for students, encouraging alumni attendance to university activities that promote school spirit, pride, a sense of community and during times of critical times “the voice” of the alumni has been there in strong force to stand with Dear Mother.
At this juncture in our history, the UAPB/AM&N National Alumni Association faces a new challenge in the way that it conducts business with the policy of the University of Arkansas Systems. However, our mission will remain the same. We will continue to support the University and its program by focusing on recruitment and retention of students and increasing membership of the National Alumni Association.
As President, my goal for the Alumni Association is to continue supporting the University with the same zeal and enthusiasm it has in the past and to continue to answer “the call”. “We come when thou call’st us to battle, dear mother…” I look forward to working with you, alumni and friends, as we move forward with the mission of supporting UAPB.
Ask yourself, what can I do to help support the mission of the Alumni Association and to help with the recruitment and retention of students at UAPB? Will you answer “the call”?

Dear Fellow Alumni:
The UAPB/AM&N National Alumni Association and the University need your support!
Active membership in the UAPB/AM&N National Alumni Association allows a small contribution to go a long way and enables you to contribute to practically every part of the University. It is the only organization able to assist such a large number of campus organizations and departments all while keeping alumni and friends connected to UAPB.
Regular membership dues are $50.00 and account for a rather small annual contribution to the university, but there’s a lot of value in pooling annual membership dues among thousands of supporters. Membership dues are responsible for and assist with:
Lifetime membership dues goes into an investment account and each year the interest is used for the maintenance and operation of the National Alumni Office.
There are three (3) three levels of Life Membership:
Installments can be paid within three (3) consecutive years. You may upgrade by paying the difference between the original costs and the current price for the desired level.
As Alumni, we have benefited from attending UAPB/AM&N.
We were part of the past and now it is time for all Alumni to be part of the future!
Please, become an active member of the Alumni Association as an annual member or a lifetime member and make a difference.
